I don't know why the resolution scaling is at 25% by default.:steamfacepalm: My old gaming rig is close to what the average player has, and it doesn't need that desperate of an up scaling. Nor do I have a card that can really handles the new DLSS. It works fine with mostly high settings at 1440p and having the scale to 100%. If anything, I think my FPS went up from an average of 45 FPS to around 50-60 after an update.

What the ♥♥♥♥? Is this a recent change? Just booted the game back up and the computers are completely illegible with the default resolution scaling, and I didn't encounter that even once during my playthrough.

No, I had 25% scaling in the playtest and demo. Not sure if it happens to everyone, but it has been fairly consistent with me. Though EA I think took my demo settings and didn't have to readjust that.

delete settings file
AppData\Local\AbioticFactor\Saved\Config\Windows\Settings.ini

remove this line
r.ScreenPercentage=25

and restart game

Welp, if this is getting necro'd, might as well provide some useful input too for anyone else seeing it
Not sure if this was a feature back then, but we can now enable "Larger Text Size" under the Accessibility Options to make the email text more readable, helps out a ton

A bit overkill, and likely ineffective when settings.ini gets reset again, but I guess it works.

I think that was recently added, along with the UI text being made smaller, but with an option to increase text size again.

That said, it is good to have that kind of option.
