Help Please

I am at the point where I need to get past the sentry guns/get to the control room to deactivate them. I have been running around for hours and cannot figure it. I looked up things on google that said to build a 3 bridges across the gap to holmholtz area, but the bridges will not place on that spot, as if patched out. It felt super obtuse and cheesy to think they wanted you to build those bridges anyways. So what's the next ACTUAL step you're supposed to take? I have the level 3 hacker. I know I need ichor to activate a portal at the top of the containment block. I have been over every inch of that containment block and have no idea what I'm missing

bring 4 layak essenses, go just infront of the line of fire, build a bridge to your left, jump over with cube or jump pad, fly with a car, use shield knockback, whatever. Find a vent and enter it, hack a keypad ontop that opens a flimsy iron gate seen through the window, go through the portal, activate all the switches (enemies won`t spawn before you press the first one), go up and through the portal, use the essenses, run through in a way that you won`t get shot to death, hack the security system and BOOM you`re done

Guys just use IS-0052 (the blue cube). It weakens gravity so you can jump further. Use other research items to your advantage too. Like the IS-0099 :D

After you've jumped the gap, go for the square portal at containment block Helmholtz. There is an objective there. You will eventually figure it out :)

I made it past that part and I'm in the control room. But there is no way to deactivate the guns. That I could see in the control room. I looked up videos on YouTube and there is nothing on it. Can't even find a computer terminal to shut it off.

That isn't the control room that's just the prequel to the room that houses the control room.

Go through that radiation thing that requires 4 items
