Help Please

I am at the point where I need to get past the sentry guns/get to the control room to deactivate them. I have been running around for hours and cannot figure it. I looked up things on google that said to build a 3 bridges across the gap to holmholtz area, but the bridges will not place on that spot, as if patched out. It felt super obtuse and cheesy to think they wanted you to build those bridges anyways. So what's the next ACTUAL step you're supposed to take? I have the level 3 hacker. I know I need ichor to activate a portal at the top of the containment block. I have been over every inch of that containment block and have no idea what I'm missing

I have not redirected any laser beams. I assume that would be in the laser lab area? In the adjustment wing?

Yes, you need to do that. This is the intended way to progress the story. The bridge metod was a crutch and is patched out already.

It says I need a high intensity chemical burn to access the laser lab. I swear, this game is not very clear about what is necessary to continue in it. I get the whole figuring things out stuff, but this is rather obtuse at times

I have the tier 3 hacker. And I know the people in the hallway said that they need to get back into their lab to help you out. They neglect to mention where their lab is

I honestly don't know what to tell you. I did the laser beam thing before they dropped the latest hotfix that blocked the laser room with that fungal mass or whatever it is.

Yeah there's a fungal mass there now. And no discernible way to get through it that I can find as of yet.

You need to activate tram in labs and drive to the sentry guns sector. After arriving just go straight left and upstairs (there will be a locker room to the right), there will be path to the left, but you need to slip in quickly because of sentry guns. After that you can go down and build a bridge to the vent on the other side

The Laser Labs sector is another way to get there. I don't know why they put there a web, because you get all the stuff to get rid of it only after sentry guns sector

I said that they patched out the placement of the bridge to the opposing vent. I can't make it across there. I'm at a point where I am supposed to get something to burn the fungal masses/get to control center. Anteverse 2 is supposed to be the solution, but don't know how to get there or the Tarasque ichor (spelling) to open the portal at the top of the containment chamber

I'd really like to do it without cheesing if at all possible. Are you saying that the game is hard locked now because you need fungal burn ability to get past the turrets, but don't get the ability to burn the fungus until after the turrets?

I mean the fact that I'm here asking how to progress is a sad review for the game anyways. I guess I'm just about done playing it in that case, really. No game should have you wondering around for literal hours without any idea how to progress besides cryptic info about CONTAINMENT BLOCK CONTAINMENT BLOCK

I don't know why they blocked the laser room. It makes no sense. Maybe they changed the intended progression. Maybe the tram from Pens to Containment is the new route.
