Sinks still not refilling?

I know that the recent-most hotfix claims to have fixed sinks not refilling after being used up, but I haven't experienced this yet. My save was made before the fix, so I'm not sure if it only affects save games made after the hotfix, or if the issue still persists.

It might take awhile but I did have two sinks in a restroom fill up and have seen sinks in other places fill as well.

So the patch did work for old saves, but I still wonder how much it will actually give.

i have a launch day save and i am pretty sure i have seen sinks fill up but i wasnt sure if that was what happened or if they were merely untouched.
pretty sure they did fill up though.

Hm, I've been monitoring several sinks, both near base and further away, and haven't seen any fill. It's possible that the refill chance is really low, and I'm just impatient. But it's been about a couple months of in-game time and nothing has resulted.

resources respawn and sinks refill rapidly before the day/night cycle timer starts but i have a save with 14 hours of playtime in it and a sink hasn't refilled ever since that instance, decided to try partially refilling one and seeing if that fixes it, still waiting atm

theres several things that don't respawn still outside of sinks.

try modiifying the sink fill rate. ive set mine triple the rate and the time it took to refill is reasinable to me

Same. There are sinks that have been empty for weeks in game. They don't even make that dripping sound. Seems broke.

Been playing for awhile with this patch and have noticed my nearby restroom sink refilling. It is slow, but it does refill. Don't expect to live off of a handful of sinks though.

Sinks have never refilled in any of my save games, even new ones, and I've beaten the game on two different save files. I just always take lead belly now because ♥♥♥♥ these devs thinking I Want to spend my life grinding boiling water in a single player game for hours.

I have a launch day save and yeah, no sink refills for me. It's made water a tedious grind. I pick up two water coolers and fill one with pool water. Then I boil my way through pot after pot of water (4 at a time with the repaired oven in the office break room) but it's still basically an entire day just to refill one cooler.

There's a thing you unlock after having carbon and barrels I think that makes pure water easy.

In my first world they eventually ran dry and stopped refilling, and in my second I didn't have a problem with it, so who knows.

Well, you could always try speedrunning to getting the water purifier, I guess...

Not sure what to say for people that still have problems. My save was started on the release version, before the sinks got patch, and now the sinks work, albeit slowly.

Again, they are pretty slow, and I wouldn't rely on a few nearby ones to help as a water source. You'll likely have to do a jog around the place to collect water.

There could also be a bug where they do not refill unless you travel out far enough. It is entirely possible that someone speed running the game in 30 hours will have no sinks refill for them, because they are gone way too soon.

checking back on this, i am now positive sinks refill.
i have been portal hopping though, and sometimes stayed overnight in there, so i cant tell if that has an effect or not.

both the facility sinks and the portal world sinks have been refilling.
not sure about the frequency though.
