A reliable away to get agent's shotgun?

I killed more than 50 of them but I don't see any shotgun drop. How do we force them to give us their stuff"

Also also, can you tell me the exact location of the sledgehammer, I have run back and forward the train for more than 10th times but still no sledgehammer to be found

Haven't cracked the enigma of the shotgun yet, but I do know that sledgehammers are in manufacturing area, I remember finding two of them just prior to busting open an entrance to the labs. Sorry, don't remember the exact room, though.

there's a guaranteed one in the train portal. in the carriage that you have to climb junk to get out of

hmm i guess i got lucky, first shotgun guy i killed (since the update) he dropped his shotgun. it's a good gun for sure.

The patch notes say we have to "force" them to give it up. Maybe you have to do something specific to make them drop it?

it was the room that's connected to that x ray blocked door which leads to the area you shut the security guns off. i think it's also the room you are spat out into after completing the zombie world portal? there is a shotgun guy in the kitchen.

i didn't do anything specific to make him drop it, i just killed him, he went into a downed state and i finished him. it looks like a spas-12

i think they change it to the first guys you killed after the update. I think I miss the first drop and now have to deal with the abyssmal RNG cause they don't want shotgun to populate everywhere

Does the net gun change anything? I remember seeing someone say to get the low rng backpack from the rat soldier you have to net him then knife him not just kill and knife.

I have got my hand on the damn agent shotgun. Here is what I did. (Only needed for those don't have it already)

First when it come to agents you killed, only killed the shotgun guy, I think the RNG is linked at least between them so when one drop the weapon the chance got lowered again, which explain why I killed more than 30 shotgun guys but no shotgun only pistol, submachine gun that drop.

Secondly
the best shotgun farm way for me. In the place you get out of the zombie world (put a workbench and synchronize your teleporter there) , when you re host your game, there will always be a shotgun guy spawn in the kitchen, another one on the server room on the right into the defense system zone(Only usable when you reset the defense system).

Then go into the portal below you (the big blue laser one)(you should build bridge and landing pad so you can quickly descend from there). In that portal world, the first shotgun guys will spawn on the bathroom on the left (the portal is behind you now). After that take the elevator, sneak to your right and go forward there should be another one. After that don't be greedy for the last shotgun guy in the helicopter area, returns.

Side note, if you haven't unlock teleporter or ladder plant, just go into the big blue laser portal.

Exit the game and rehost. Good luck
