What are some good ways to train your construction?

So far I've just been reconstructing a repair bench, but I'm getting diminishing returns of 1xp per tick.
Any ideas on what gives more xp?

I just started destroying ALL furniture until my coop partner complained that I was filling up all storage with wood. Got my construction skill to 6 or 7 by just deconstructing furniture. Bringing furniture, that didnt break, home to the repair bench to scrap it also leveled crafting.

I prefer not to break all the furniture so items have somewhere to respawn.

You can destroy all portal world's furniture, they do respawn
My base have a backdoor that can only be access through remove the sandbag I place there, I rebuild them everytime I had to enter my base, so I got that training everyday
You can also build the fan trap near doors, it will damage itself, so you can fix it with hammer, which gives construction xp
