Any tips on how to unlock this blueprint?

Anyone? Does it even exist in the game right now? Considering the game gives you blueprint on science backpack directly, I would assume all components for it must be in game already.

Which exactly? The one which is super hot and where you get gel? I've been there. I've got enough gel, and two types of new plants there. Was there something else?

Can you please elaborate? If you mean Far Garden, I've checked it twice, and the only resources I find are Anteverse Gel, Green Antelight, Anteverse Wheat and rope plants. Am I missing something? I've planted Antelight to see what would it yield, but I doubt it is related to Carbon Plating.

I've figured it out, finally.. you need to sneak up on those little bugs and whack 'em in the Mycofields portal map. the ones that go into their burrow when they notice you.. they'll drop a carapace which unlocks carbon plating.

Yeah, I had to ask on devs discord to find that out. I've actually tried to kill them when first visiting mycofields, but apparently they are immune if they are scared away. I was not aware of that, and assumed they are just unkillable.
