Time keeps freezing at 7AM on Dedicated Server

Whenever I or someone else joins our friends server the time will be frozen at 7 AM on our watches. Does anyone know a fix to this?

It tends to freeze until you leave the cafeteria area at the start and enter the plaza. I guess it must seem to do that every time someone new joins.

so what if someone joins and doesnt leave then leaves the server. because on the one im playing its stuck at 7am and im the only one on. would a server reboot fix that

Also having this issue on a GPortal dedicated server where I am the only one currently on.

From what we have seen so far it seems the time unfreezes when another person joins the server while someone else is on. A server restart sometimes works too but if you log out and back in it tends to freeze again.

I'm sorry to hear about this strange time anomaly!

I see a report that has been filed about this issue, so we will be looking into it.

However, if you would like to also submit a report[forms.gle] with any additional information you might have, particularly if any of you are running the dedicated server yourselves, that would be super helpful.

I had a similar issue on my dedicated server as well.

I had just finished the first portal (the one we're you first meet the bipedal aliens that shoot pink lightning darts) and survived the pest portal storm and got off to make some dinner.

When I reconnected it was still night (anomaly whisps and "coworker" were both present) but my watch said 7am and it was stuck like that.

I ended up having to restart the server and that fixed the issue (I loaded in and it listed the time as around 2am and time passes normally)

Also just for context I'm running the dedicated server on a Linux machine via the community setup guide.

I have my server down right now but what I ended up doing was use a task scheduler on my Server machine to restart the server once a day and the problem hasn't happened again.
