Cooking pot disappears
When taking the last portion of soup, the cooking pot simply vanishes (probably, teleports to another dimension idk). Is this a bug or a new feature (did not happen in beta)? Happens on both client and server.

Makeshift pots are now disappearing when you fully empty them. But it might be a bug with just certain soups? Honestly I have no idea what the hell is going on with the makeshift pots.. Or the coworker.. Bastard hasn't dropped a single thing for me even after feeding em,

2/3 pots have been fine but the 3rd disappeared. Seems inconsistent.

try to make sure you have an open spot in your inventory- i've had an empty pot just appear in my inventory after taking the last bowl of soup

hopefully this helps

Happened twice to me already. Lost 4 pots dedicated to boiling water. I had the boiling station set up by the pool since it's a very easy source of water without the threat of randomly spawning robots.
I relocated it to the fountain in the main lobby of the office sector near the security guard. Will monitor the pots again.

Cooking pots soup bugs for me, only seems to check the empty hotbars, not the inventory, so whenever you have full hotbars, your pot will just disappear on final soup.

I found a secondary way to make the pot disappear; feed it to the "coworker"

Workaround that has worked for my group, once you start having issues, remove and scrap the stove. Make an entirely new stove, and then you can cook again. May not be permanent, we just figured this out tonight. Should be repeatable though.

This isn't it. I can confirm that if you have a full inventory, it will just drop the pot in front of you on the ground, and yet I have had pots disappear randomly when taking the last meal as well. I haven't tested this newly dropped version though so maybe it's fixed.

That's a different issue with the stove. We're talking about when you are taking portions of food out of a pot that isn't even on the stove anymore but instead placed into the world. (aka, cook a soup, pick the soup up, place it on the table, and then take all 4 portions. Sometimes the pot isn't returned to you)

Yes, I'm aware. What I posted fixed BOTH issues for us. Pots disappearing just trying to take them off the stove, and pots disappearing when you take the last portion. BOTH are fixed with this.

Moot point now, its fixed in the latest hotfix that just dropped. Said in the notes it was related to old stoves having bad data.

The problem with pots disappearing isn't about stoves. They go missing after taking the last portion of soup. This hotfix didn't mention this problem at all.

Bullet sponge might be right. It could be a faulty stove putting corrupt data into the pot, which could make the pot disappear after eating it all. We don't really know if it's fixed until this new patch gets more playtime.

Well we can only hope. Might play more tomorrow waiting for V Rising.

So far so good. I've cooked up about 8 pots of food, and never lost a pot yet. fingers crossed.

When they patched this bug, I think I doubled or tripled my pots and pans. All my makeshift stoves had extra stuff, and even the Level 1 Kitchen stove top had a few more pots and pans. (all in loot bags)

I've yet to test if I could leave stuff on the burner or let a placed pot sit on a table, but I guess I'll test that soon, and likely find it's fixed now.

yeah they mentioned the extra pot thing in the patch notes. I've left food in the pot on a table and it has no issues. I've not yet tried leaving food on the stove and logging out yet, but so far I haven't lost a pot yet.
