Switching to hosting dedicated server
Is it possible to copy over my game world save if I rent a dedicated server? Really don't want to have to start fresh.

You have easy access to your save files by clicking the Open Save Fold on the save game in question via the Load Menu.

It will open up a PC folder taking you to the (mess of) files for your given save. Upload that to the dedicated server and it should be good.

Yes, but you'll need to tweak the worldname in the folder structure, I stole this from a relevant reddit post.

"Navigate to %LOCALAPPDATA%\AbioticFactor\Saved\SaveGames\SteamID\Worlds\WorldName and copy all the files to Abiotic Factor Dedicated Server\AbioticFactor\Saved\SaveGames\Server\Worlds\WorldName.

By default, dedicated server calls your world Cascade, unless you specify a custom world name with the WorldSaveName parameter.

If you use the default world name for dedicated and your hosted world name is "Fun Time", you'll want to copy all the files from %LOCALAPPDATA%\AbioticFactor\Saved\SaveGames\SteamID\Worlds\Fun Time to Abiotic Factor Dedicated Server\AbioticFactor\Saved\SaveGames\Server\Worlds\Cascade."
