( replacing the character.sav file with the character.sav file from the newly created world save with the character's perks selected as you wanted back on the other world save. ).
That said, you aren't punished if your skills aren't ideal starting off. The first few levels are easy to get with a bit of use.
Slow learner is only really a horrible trait in games that punish you for dying, this game by default doesn't have perma death so i would not worry about it at all.
The game wants you to be playing with friends, not solo, so if you picked this and only play solo, yeah you should make a new character, whereas if you play with friends, you're not the jack of all traits so let your friends do the more laborious takes like farming etc otherwise it won't hurt much, the games not that big yet, and you can make a new char and speed through so much of the early areas and make it to end game in just a few hours.
Project zomboid however, now thats a game to regret choosing slow learner as a trait lol.
