Fire Proximity Suit???

Hey, I'm curious about the fire proximity suit.

In the current version of the game, is the fire proximity suit functioning as intended. I am asking because it still shows me as being 'Hot' when I'm just hanging around my base. I am aware that the 'Bench Warmer' upgrade for the bench generates heat, but I would have thought that the fire proximity suit at least protects against that heat. What am I missing here? It's possible I am misunderstanding how body temperature works in this game. Thanks in advance! <3

Body heat operates differently from the extreme heat that the fire suit protects you from. As of right now, there’s only one area where the fire suit is mostly usable and it’s near the end of the available content. Wearing the suit still makes you stuffy which increases your thirst, the fire suit doesn’t protect you from that, just from stuff that actually burns you and affects your health.

Are you referring to the mycofield? Or are you talking about somewhere else?

I just checked out the Mycofield, checking if clipped through items came back and if items kept glitching through (some still did, but it was a major improvement), and I can say that you will be at the high end of your heat tolerance with the fire suit, but it won't go any further.

If somehow being in the Facility, in a fire suit, and the Bench Warmer upgrade is still making you throw up, then that should be reported as a bug. Otherwise the high heat status seems normal, since you are already stuffy in the suit as-is and it wouldn't take much more heat to cap out.

Also, since temps inside the Facility don't seem to matter, I've stopped making the heater for my Crafting Station.
