The cacophonous crate, appearing to look like IS-0064, the composer.

Was wearing the full manufacturing outfit when interacting with it, and haven't had luck with the security crates.

It is just a big guess, but I think you need to wear composer armor, not unlike that one dude.

Well, having a look around Flathills hasn't revealed anything about the Cacophonous Crate. No sign of ways of unlocking it, or additional crates within it.

However, there are new posters inside the arcade.

Seems a second Cacophonous Crate has replaced the GATE Security Crate at the top of the Containment Sector.

Have the devs confirmed that you can't open them at the current moment?

The fact that their dev vlog about it says "don't worry about it" when looking at it I think means they can't be opened yet.

I found that in the code of the game they're called "SM_MusicBox_Crate" could be something

Judging by the name, a Small, Composer(via joke name) Crate.

Implies there are larger crates and that each crate maybe themed for each faction and/or area.

There's also another Cacophonous Crate to the right of Server Room 1 and outside the glass window. It's close to the gate between Office Sector and Manufacturing East.

Found another one behind operations on the top level of containment in cascade laboratories. Just before the zip line through the electricity.
