Server currently unavailable

The game is still trying to connect to the gameforge server it semse:

We fixed an issue that was preventing login outside North America, can you restart OMDU and give it another try? If you're still experiencing any trouble please let us know.

We pushed out a fix for this. For the fix to apply, you'll need to restart OMDU and "verify your game files". Or just restart Steam and it'll start downloading the small update.

Everything is working again now. The little patch (where you also updated the dashboardconfig.xml) and a restart of OMDU fixed it. :)
