PS4 Cross-play?

When this game releases for PS4 in the future, will PC users with Orcs Must Die! accounts be able to play with PS4 users also with Orcs Must Die! accounts? I would love to play with a friend of mine that uses a PS4.

No details to share yet on the PS4 version of OMDU. We know a lot of people are really looking forward to it but we're currently focused on the PC version of the game. Stay tuned here, and on social media for updates!

Hello Maxdamage A.F,

We've received a lot of requests for this feature but we do not have plans to allow cross platform compatibility at that time. If there are any updates regarding this feature, we'll be sure to announce them.

there's literally no reason it shouldn't be POSSIBLE (if potential involving a bunch of extra effort).
the potential roadblock is Sony-their approval process is a pain, and they've been actively denying permission for developers to implement CP play (with flimsy excuses) since war thunder released on ps4 AGES ago >.>

hey me and my friends wanna play togherer, but i've PC and tey have PS4 :/

In the past Sony has said that they want to "protect their play experience" or something like that, and refused to allow cross-play. From a technical perspective some games have cross-play (eg Fortnite's unintended cross play), so it is possible, but sometimes separation is more due to agreements on Acceptable Use Policies, Terms of Sevice etc.

Im not super conserned about cross platform play as much as the abillity to carry progress between PC to PS4. thats it :c
