Cool Trap Loadouts?
What are some cool trap loadouts? I want to start using different traps to spice things up a bit. Plus I have some skulls to spend. I am rank master.

I like Cursed Ground a lot. Simple trap, but visuals are awesome/epic.
For fun stuff try traps that throw orcs. Basicaly you can make a combo where you throw them into something like wall blades and then they fall into steam vent which knocks them up into another wall blade :D

I like to do viscus tar, cursed, cursed, brimstone, and then repeat. Really depends on your hallway, but you can use wall chargers near the tar and first cursed ground, and then web spinners near the brimstone and cursed ground in the back. For ceiling, concussive pounders above the cursed ground. They take more damage the longer they are on cursed ground so do what you can to keep them there. I also like to add the more damage to stunned enemies on the cursed ground and then place them under the concussive pounder. You could try and fit a quarter pounder above the viscous tar, but that's a lot of space. If you have long hallways or paths, arcane bowling traps are super fun. They shoot out an arcane projectile every few seconds. If you have a long narrow hall those are great.

There are maps that require very different variations, but I generally take: great barricade and/or barricade, viscous tar trap, cursed ground, brimstone, wall charger and dragon's lance. Standart replacements are arcane ball, power generator or boom barrel roller. Other ones, as I already said, depend on the given map.
My general purpose loadout right now (level 38ish)

Summoner (mini guardians), Flip trap, Boom Barrel Roller, single Barricade, Wall Blade, Brimstone, ceiling Zapper thing, Arrow Wall or Floor Spikes

Hey it's tired David! Seen you post a lot on the age 2 forums :)

Steam Vent is fun, Also Haymakers can be a blast! Or a Curse...... Wall charger can be nice if you get over the price of it... And I'm really loving my Shock zapper with Heavy trigger.

Wow, I totally forgot haymakers, of course they are usually core. And talking about price - having all traps tier 7 and fully modified to fit together into specific loadout, that's an actual thing. You can definitely get over it then.

Same here. Combine with bowling ball, wall blades, boom barrels...

I myself always advertise for Push Traps, I used to use them a lot more then I do now but man are they a blast with any character!

1. Vicious tar (always),
2. Bowling balls (in most maps they work well),
3. Wall blades (since they are much cheaper than wall chargers),
4. Concussive Pounders (stunning to keep them longer in the killbox), haymakers are more specific to use, because they can throw minions behind your defenses (they work well in the lava map with 5 gates)
5. Flip traps/Spike walls (to throw away minions, especially in throne room), it depends on the map which of those you take.
6. Big game hunting ballistas to take out annoying hunters and mercs.
7. Fire scorcher to flip minions into acid/lava/water and to do damage and slow :)
8. The gong, to slow them even more :)

Often I found it better to use Wall blades instead of Push traps and use flip traps for the psychics effect instead. Otherwise you usually don't do enough damage against large minions.

I like Push traps because they tare elementals a new one.... And they can also bounce minions around the kill box if done right. I never used the Gong, but it can be good. I just never used it... Big Game Hunting Ballistas are also good at takeing out unstable rifts...

on higher tier bgh is must have to make sure no rift pop up cz that can mess entire run.push traps are very powerful if u are melee hero like blackpaw cz give u massive dmg bonus...wall charger is very good to soft enemies cz wall blade will not be that good in endless..there is a lot situatios where some traps will be more effective then any other
