💾 SYSTEM PATCH DETECTED: VERSION 3.0 IS LIVE 💾

Listen up, operators. We've cracked the firewall on player-vs-player combat, rewired the onboarding protocol, and pushed a full stack of quality-of-life upgrades into the core client. No server fees. No gatekeeping between free and paid operatives. This is how Cybersoul was meant to run. 25gb to 3gb.

Here is the breakdown of the new protocol:

🌐 MULTIPLAYER: GRID LINK ESTABLISHED The old server dependency has been terminated.

NEW SYSTEM: Free Steam P2P multiplayer. Zero hosting costs. Direct operator-to-operator combat.

Quick Match: Drop into the queue. Fight a random operative. Play with Friend: Steam invite. Private lobby. No middleman.

Cross-DLC combat is live. Free-to-play operatives can fight paid users. Paid users can fight free users. Everyone fights everyone. Your DLC tier does not lock you out of the arena — it unlocks what you can play as, not who you can fight.

🔑 HERO KEYS: DLC PROTOCOL REWRITTEN We rebuilt the entitlement system from scratch. One build. One upload. Smart tier detection.

Free operatives can browse the entire card database and every Hero Power in the Collection Panel. You can fight every deck. The AI runs the full roster.

DLCs are now Hero Keys:

Unlock starter decks on the main screen
Unlock Hero Powers when building custom decks
Unlock matching Challenges

Three new decks are incoming with As Above, So Below: Divine Synchronicities. Cosmic Abominations. Deep Sea Horrors. The signal is getting louder.

📡 ONBOARDING PROTOCOL: TUTORIALS DEPLOYED You no longer have to learn by dying.

Main Menu: Hit TUTORIAL. Full How to Play guide drops — Solo Battle mechanics, minigames, the works. In-Combat: Pause mid-match (Settings icon or Escape). Tutorial overlay spawns over the board. Drag it. Resize it. Read the rules while staring at the actual battlefield.

The overlay is transparent. The board stays visible. Learn while you look.

⚡ COMBAT HUD UPGRADE No more counting orbs like a caveman.

Live MANA counter on the Game UI: [c]MANA: X[/c]. Always know your spendable resources. Blessed cards now pulse with a golden glow — frames, packs, collection zoom, CardUI. You will know when you've pulled something sacred. Hero Power audio fires when you select decks on the main menu. Hear your build before you commit. Hover tooltips on the collection panel have been sharpened. Readability increased. Confusion decreased.

🤖 ENEMY AVATAR RANDOMIZER The AI no longer wears the same face every run.

Each Solo Battle assigns a random avatar pulled from the card art pool. Same face on the end screen. No more static opponent portrait. Every fight feels like a different operative stepped into the ring.

💾 CLOUD SYNC & LOGIN PATCH Your data follows you — but you can still ghost.

Steam Cloud Save: Progress syncs across machines. Logout still works: Jump back to Login Menu. Spin up Username1, Username2, infinite fresh accounts. Your call.

Settings Panel now accessible from the Login Menu before you even authenticate. Tune audio and graphics before you jack in. Music controls surfaced with on-screen hints: Next (N). Back (B). Mute (M).

♟️ GLITCH ARCADE PATCH Chess and Checkers have been re-coded for human eyes.

Chess: Board flipped. White on the bottom. Black on top. Standard online chess orientation. Toggle card art off and run classic symbols instead. On-theme square colors that don't burn your retinas. Checkers: Same board color treatment. Cleaner. Less jarring against the Cybersoul background.

🐛 BUG FIXES & OPTIMIZATION Steam Hero Win achievements mapped correctly for all heroes. No more silent failures. Card ability text scrubbed across 90+ entries. Terminology cleaned. Data integrity restored. Matchmaking UI cleaned up when searching for opponents. Less clutter. More signal. Challenger panel now respects your DLC tier. No impossible quests for locked heroes.

This is not the end of the transmission. As Above, So Below is almost here. Divine Synchronicities. Cosmic Abominations. Deep Sea Horrors. Three new Hero Keys. One massive expansion to the grid.

My opinion.

It is a cool game, but should be improved. The tutorial is not a real tutorial, you should discover the funcionalities by yourself. It is difficult to see the icons and the texts in the screen. I liked the music. The open screen is not intuitive, I don't know what is poker or some other options. But I will try further. It is not intuitive for those who not were introduced to cardgames. These are my first views, I want to try it later to understand more the mechanic....

Listen up, operators. We’ve rewritten the core code of Cybersoul. The paywalls have been breached, the timer has been deleted, and the AI has evolved. This is the definitive way to play.

Here is the breakdown of the new protocol:

🔓 FREE CONTENT EXPLOSION

We have removed the restrictions on card data.

OLD SYSTEM: Base Game = 100 Cards. Fighting 3 Factions.
NEW SYSTEM: Base Game = 500+ Cards. Fighting ALL 15 Factions.

Free players can now collect every single card in the database and battle against every faction (from the Deep Spacers to the Circuit Mystics).

So, what do the DLCs do now?DLCs are now "Hero Keys." Buying a DLC unlocks the ability to play as that specific Faction's Hero Power (e.g., Playing as the Neon Dynasty requires the DLC, but you can fight against them and use their cards for free).

🧠 NEURAL NET UPGRADE (AI)

The enemy is no longer running on basic scripts.

Smarter AI: Opponents will now execute combos, bait your spells, and punish your mistakes with ruthless efficiency.
Challenger Rewards Fixed: High-risk battles now grant the correct high-tier loot. The risk is finally worth the reward.

⌛ THE TIMER IS DEAD

You asked, we deleted it.
The turn timer has been removed from single-player content. Take your time to calculate the perfect combo. Strategize at your own leisure.

♟️ GLITCH ARCADE PATCH

Chess Logic: The Chess mini-game has been re-coded. The engine is sharper, harder, and ready to test your tactical mind.

🐛 BUG FIXES & OPTIMIZATION

Challenger Rewards are fixed.

This is just the beginning.
The roster is full... for now. But we are detecting new signals from the Concrete Jungle. Something wild is growing in the cracks of the city. Stay tuned for the Gaia Overgrowth, Mad Motors, and Cortex Collective.

My Review

I don't want to post this as an actual review because it's negative, so I'm posting it here so the developer can see it. I think this is a cool game with promise. "I like that it's free, and you get a lot of coins to open packs from playing games. It seems to use Hearthstone as its basis for rules, which isn't my cup of tea, personally. I'd like to see more interesting rules. I like the cyberpunk theme, and I think the interface has some cool aspects going for it, like the background. But there isn't ...
