2.maybe placin turrets and other buildings at the same time okay....
3.Practice baby :D
what is that screenshot supposed to tell me? youre floating over 2k. in other rts games you get laughed at with that kind of macro.
@szalami its not a matter of practise. its a fact that once you secured a new oil with 2 harvester saturation your income skyrockets and its simply not possible to spend your oil until you put down a significant amount of additional infrastructure. ive been watching quite a bit of jwokesy and i assume hes a pretty solid and respected player inside the community and i havent even seen 1 game of his where he hasnt floated serveral thousand oil on muliple occasions. in my eyes thats a no go.
also: adding the ability to construct more than 1 building at a time doesnt affect casual players at all but VASTLY increases the skill ceiling and diversity (= fun) for high level players so its a win win situation.
>inb4 last resort turret spam
>muh skill ceiling
and again:
only reason i was at 2k in that screenshot was because building any more units would intensify the already horrible lag. if you notice the amount of harvesters i have, my income is incredibly low and would spend 2k in an instant.
Even I can spend my money, and spam everything despite Im not even top 200 player.
There are so many "game-mechanic-crybaby" topics in the past 5 days that Im getting sick of it.
Explain me please, why is it so hard to learn a game that is simple like a wooden pallet?
I mean how are you not capable of pressing Q, W, Y, and X 100 times on the units tab? Or what?
sitting on 1 oil doesnt count. every monkey can spend his money like that. those 'game mechanic crybabies' appear because there are some players who love competitive rts games and want 8BA to succeed because good rts are basically non existent these days. in the current state however, 8BA will not surpass the status of a funny little casual game with a low playerbase.
