Would like classic mouse controls option to be added

I am not really a fan of the "modern" mouse control (aka right click to move unit) I prefere the left click to move units I would like a option where you could switch to classic control settings.

I am posting this on the forum in the hope that some of the devs may see it and to ask other players about there opinion.

So. Do you also prefere old school mouse controls or do you like the modern controls?

It's not really a modern mouse setup. Warcraft 2 (not shure about 1) and Age of Empires 1 also had right click mouse setup.

I call it modern because it is the standard now in RTS games most RTS games from before 2005 usually had left click control

yes of course but 1 programmer should be able to do this in 5 - 10 minutes

2005 is a bit late, we'd have to go back to early - mid 90's for left click behavior.

Even then, WarCraft 2 in '95, StarCraft in '98, AoE 2 in '99, etc. all used right click.

I thought they still offered inverted mouse controls?
I'd also like to see it as an option.

Yes its needs it. all i wanna do is enjoying it and i cant because right-mouse-click is not preferred for me. A lot of us come from Command and Conquer. I was hoping at last an option. Thats all. is it hard to do?

It's bizarre that this was never added, especially since it began as a spiritual successor to C&C. Surely it couldn't have been that hard to implement. Oh well.
