Hello Everyone, New 8-Bit Discord, Welcome

Hi everyone,
I've started a new Discord Server I'm hosting for 8-bit Armies players, and also Dune 2000 players or those interested in another RTS games like 8-bit Armies. This is open to all RTS games, but with a bit heavier focus on these two.

Gruntmod's version of Dune 2000 will run on modern versions of Windows in 1080p and has other modern upgrades to the base game. Being an old title the file size is incredibly small, but the quality of the game content itself is one of those rare hidden gems; it's a great strategy game, one of those legendary RTS. It is free, virus free and supports free multiplayer online.

The discord server will serve as a place to chat, hang out, connect to play games of 8-Bit Armies, Dune 2000, and other RTS games. If Age of Empires/C&C/Supreme Commander/etc. is your thing, that is welcome, this is just a place we can connect, dicuss and play. :) We love RTS in general.

Anyone is welcome to join so long as they are respectful, and here for/posting appropriate/relevant content (RTS); bullying will not be tolerated.

Anyone who joins who is interested in Dune 2000 will be provided with the safe link they need to download the game for free and be able to play.

Lol I hear you, it's been that way for a while now I guess,
But, Idgaf, I play 10 year old games all the time xD
They are the best, and what I've put most time into. I play new games that are new to me but they usually don't come close to the great titles that were released roughly 10 years ago. (Halo, Jk2, UT2004, etc..)
I'll probably be playing Jk2, Half Life 2, Halo, Dune2k and UT 2004 till judgement day when no one else is.
Gears 3 is great too, I need to get Xbox live again to get that going again.

If there was a way to extend the way I play Perfect Dark on an emulator (I suspect there should be a way this is possible, as people play Super Smash Bros. online together on Project64k), with mouse support and what not, it would change some things.
Perfect Dark played with a keyboard and mouse like any PC FPS is absolutely glorious to play,

if there was a way we could set up online play across PC like they did with the HD remake for the Xbox 360, the gaming Gods would look down, "Osu!" and smile upon this. Playing it with such mouse and keyboard glory as if the game were made for it, and knowing Project64k works for Super Smash Bros online, connecting players in different cities, OVER AN N64 emulator, I really think this should be doable somehow. Online support for combat simulator and co-op missions would just be amazing, like this just should've happened already. Someone may have figured it out, if not it needs to be done.
