I recieved the message "save failed for unknown reason". I tried triggering the next story scene, attempted to save after, and got the same message. I've verified the filed on steam and ran the game as an admin, but when trying to load, it claimed my save file was corrupt.
Are there any known issues with save corruption that will be changed in the Day One patch?

In the meantime, I suggest:
a) Running the deadrising.exe with elevated admin rights as Mikfail has suggested
b) Anti-virus software is configured to exclude the entire Dead Rising game installation folder from the scan target.
c) Might want to do the same for the save file directory just in case.
For those who consistently experience save failure and data corruption even with the above suggestion, can you temporarily disable or shut down your anti-virus software and try again? This is to weed out any potential compatibility issue with the AV software you may be using.
