Wait for the Deluxe Remastered or wait till this is on sale?

Been wanting to check out Dead Rising for a while and now the deluxe remastered has been announced. I'm conflicted on what to do now.

Get this, The "deluxe Remaster" looks garbage. This works 100% fine on modern systems at unlocked framerate and with amazing lighting.

No, they didn't discount this game because they straight up just permanently lowered the price from $20 to $10 after the announcement. Damn, how thoughtful of Capcom! Permanently lowering the price so people can get it for cheaper before they de-list! Does that make any sense to you?

If they wanted to do greedy ♥♥♥♥ they would have already de-listed the game, not permanently lower the price so that people can get it for cheaper.

Anyway, just a classic case of steam forums user. Bro doesn't know they lowered the price because he didn't even ever buy the original game. But he's here yapping about how they won't discount this much superior version of the game, then get delisted, new game bad, Capcom bad, yap yap yap.

The first Dead Rising truly has a charm to it. The Remaster isn't even out yet, but I already know I'll always go with the OG release!

Play this, The devs of "Deluxe" Remaster (that name is garbage by the way) have already proven they know ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about what made the original so good. Adding Auto Save, Replacing Voice Actors and making it for the "Modern audience" is enough to tell you that.

Imo I would say watch all cutscenes of the first game in order then maybe play the remaster as lines and characters will be changed to look, sound or act different.

I got a key from Eneba for 3.20 euro. It is dirt cheap and a good buy if you like to rizz your Steam account. If it gets delisted all the woke nonsense will make this version even more special

I wouldn't worry about the game being delisted. Capcom has never removed the original version of a game from sale when a remake for it comes out.

The only case Capcom delisted a game was DMC 4 in favor of the Special Edition, but as far as I know, the Special Edition is pretty much a better version, kinda how the first release of RE4 was a straight-up port of the PS2 version, and was a really bad port.

Another case as far I remember is RE: Operation Raccoon City, I think the reason that the game got delisted is because originally was needed GFWL to play it, so they put them out of the store to fix this, but I think It passed a year already when they did this, and no sign of the game on Steam yet.
