The remaster shown today on the other hand looks like a modern engine (not MT framework anymore) with new models, textures and voice work. Far above the scope of the original "remaster" and we barely have any footage.
One of the things of this game that I always wish to change on a possible remake/remaster was for the world/mall to be seamless.
You know, in this original the entire mall is segmented and divided by constant loading screens. Each area is it's own separate map.
Can you imagine if this new version delivers a completely seamless world like Capcom recent RE remakes?
That would be a game changer and provide a new experience.
I'm wondering the same... but the trailer shows 1:1 cutscenes shots to the original. When Capcom say remake (at least with the recent RE games) they mean, completely redone and redesigned.
This seems to be exactly the same game, just with remade assets.
I guess we will know for sure on Monday.
I'm hoping it to be the exact game with no redesigns, but seamless world instead of dozens of loading screens between areas.
Monday feels so far from now, ugh I'm just getting impatient. can't wait to hear and see more.
And high FPS and resolution IS a bare minimum expectation for a PC port.
