It's a valid complaint though. They know these changes won't sit well with most fans of the franchise. TJ Rotolo is Frank West, DR4 was a disaster enough without changing Frank's likeness. Clearly they've learned nothing since then, since they are now messing with the original title.

They do it every time. His face and voice are unrecognizable. The only reason we even know it's Dead Rising 1 is because they told us.

Whatever. I wouldn't have been interested in it anyway, because I guarantee they won't bother to include something to make it more interesting like a coop mode.

The balls on them to use a tagline "Frank is back" in DR4 and then just have it be some dude who looks nothing like Frank, sounds nothing like Frank and acts nothing like Frank is so absurd it feels like a parody of itself.

Or at the very least since its 2024, make his face look like that one 3d concept realistic looking frank.

What are you talking about? The remake look is spot on. Instantly recognizable. I only wish they've kept the same voice actor.

New model reminds me of his concept art and the previous versions of him seen in pre-releese copies, the black jacket and hairline especially.

It will look weird to most people though simply because it's different. Need to see more of the game obviously to get a better impression, as well as what they did to the other characters.

What confuses me is that every iteration of frank except the DR4 frank looks almost like a caricature drawing of the original Frank West. They're funny though, and I totally dig the new one and his funny looking nose, just is a bit offputting how old he looks in this remaster compared to how he looks in the original. OG Frank looks like he's in his mid to late 20's? then every frank after is post-mid-life-crisis.

dude chill they showed a 40 second trailer that didn't show game play wait until they show actual game play. instead of trying to make concrete statements on a game that wasn't even shown game play
