Early teaser sure, but that is a rough look.
They are just continuing what was done by the terrible Capcom Vancouver. IDK why Capcom is still so obsessed with making Frank a clown. The reason the first game worked so well was that Frank and everyone involved took the plot seriously. The player's were the one that made things "goofy" by wearing clothes or doing things that the character wouldn't in those situations. Just another developer that had no idea why people liked a series and now we are stuck with "Marvel" quipping Frank. TJ has been robbed once again and they recently worked with him so they don't have bad blood as far as I can tell.
"I covered wars, you know?"
"Zombies, I had a feeling you'd show up."
Yeah very serious guy lol.
Why tf did that Frank West Cosplayer scream "YAWAHOOO" as he jumped out of a Helicopter from 30 feet in the air...
Again the players are what is making things goofy not Frank. The main story should be taken seriously as Frank "covered wars" was meant to show that he is used to being in situations that require him to be tougher and used to being in danger. Now he is just a Marvel character yelling "woo-hoo" like Anakin yelling "yippee".
That is some low ass bar lmao
Nah, it's a goofy line to make you laught.
You don't play as Frank in the story portions of the game. Notice how I said "main story" in my paragraph? Unless suddenly we have dialogue choices then there is no way for me to stop Frank from screeching one liners like a Disney+ reject. My point still stands that Frank not taking the outbreak seriously ruins the tone and takes away the charm and will just lead to them trying to be funny instead of it occurring naturally from awkwardness. I can't wait for Frank to turn to someone and say "So, that just happened".
