First mix yourself a spitfire before you begin your attempt to flee the mall.

Next hold onto it until the moment before you get into the truck leading to the fight with the tank then drink it and finish the tank boss.

The spitfire will still be active when the fight with Brock begins Brock can not block this attack and you can use it to stun lock him.

You have to drink it before you fight the tank and beat the tank before it expires.
