It is never coming back, never.
The Dead shall always be Rising. I'm so excited to see the new technology Capcom used for Exoprimal's horde enemies, Dragon's Dogma 2 specialized AI and time limit quests, and Resident Evil 5 remake's multiplayer to be used in a Dead Rising remake >3<
Keep dreaming pal, it's over.
Story's concluded anyway. It's all full circle.
Honestly though they should just leave the series be, if they brought it back they'd just screw it up again. If anything a remaster of DR2 and OTR with all DLC would be nice.
I think the thing they messed up with the Dead Rising games after 2 is the free open combat. The fun of a Dead Rising game is that you have to plan where you plan on going to save survivors, get certain outfits, weapons, do certain quests, etc.
Dead Rising is like an semi-open world zombie survival Persona game to me. Having to manage how you plan on doing most-all of the content in one playthrough, and/or starting over when you feel like you cannot do so right now (with all levels intact) is the majority of the fun of Dead Rising to me.
A Dead Rising remake should honestly take the Crisis Core remake route and just add content. Not remove things. .....Maybe improve the AI a bit lolol
case 0 and case west should be ported to pc, ps4, and xbone. the 360 marketplace is closing in july. once that happens you will no longer be able to purchase the prologue and epilogue for dead rising 2
nope. if they were listed as DLC they would be for owners of DR2 on xbox but their not. their listed as games so at least as of right now when the 360 marketplace closes case 0 and west are no longer available for purchase anywhere
i do not own an xbone as mine hasnt arrived yet but according to the FAQ games from the 360 marketplace will no longer be available as thats a separate marketplace to the one for xbone and series x/s. DLC for those games will still be purchasable though on xbone and series x/s

Do you really want a pointless remake now?
