'Saint' achievement.
Is there anything I should know before trying for this achievement? I don't know if I have the patience to deal with the crappy AI. I played this game years ago but never got it, and have decided now to try for it.

Take advantage of the marker system to make them wait until you clear a path, if you have slots for weapons to give to the survivors do it (shotguns are good), bring some extra food, queens help too. Another thing is i'm not sure if you are reading a guide, but there are few survivors that don't get scoops. PLUS you CAN get the true ending along with this achievement, but that requires overtime mode completion, so don't freak out if you don't get it after 72 hour mode completion. If you are going for the saint achievement, I would also go for the transmissionary one too. My source is me (I have this achievement/Transmissionary)

Good luck. ^^
The AI will drive you nuts, especially if some of the survivors have a hero complex and start to fight with the zombies instead of following Frank.
I just used to let him scream "Come on!", "Follow me!", "Over here!", in a row until they finally reached me.
To avoid that survivors will get stuck always investigate their movement and set target points where they should meet together.

I think I got the Saint hopfully. Will see, when my game is done.
I've only a few hours left until the chopper arrives and overtime mode is starting.
Think I will receive level 50 too. :)

You won't get it immediately, so don't freak out like I did. You get it completing overtime mode

If a zombie grabs a survivor, they'll be completely stuck until you punch the zombie away. I suggest carving out a path for your survivors before bringing them along. Also, never go to the Al Fresca Plaza unless there's a survivor to rescue in there - the place is packed from end to end with zombies and there are very few clear spots for the survivors to wait.

Funny you should say that... I've just started and I'm trying to escort three survivors through here. It's such a pain in the ass!

play until you get to "the last resort" and let that time out. DO NOT start the last resort and let the bomb mission run out, or you get ending f. by doing this, you are able to miss 3 survivors and still get saint. if you get ending a, you can only miss 1

Yeah, go for Ending B if you are doing a Saint run. It gives you lots of extra wiggle room - you can let 3 survivors die, and you have extra time for survivor rescues once you start ignoring Case Files starting with the Last Resort.

It can also be handy to keep a lead pipe or a 2x4 on you, those weapons are single target so are very useful for getting survivors out of grabs without also hurting them if you run out of queens.

If you give a survivor your gun, the gun will never run out of ammo. It can be really useful to give to a survivor to help protect the survivors you're escorting (Just don't get in their way). I don't think the guy with the gun witll shoot a zombie that's grabbing on a fellow survivor. When you're near the Security Room, you can give the survivor another weapon in trade for the gun, and the gun will remain as it was B4 you gave it to him.

Ending B allows for the maximum number of survivors to be saved, 53 out of 54.
