Convicts respawning?

Why are the convicts respawning after I kill them? I dont remember that from playing the game a long time ago but maybe I just forgot or something. Do they usually respawn or is this a glitch?

They respawn.

They always respawn, and to be honest you get used to it. Most of the time I just ignore them now. I get tired of killing them even when I have the Mega Buster.

I came outside the first time and killed them pretty easily but when I got the japanese survivors I came back out not remembering that they respawn and their car was right there in front of wonderland plaza and they just one hit ran over one of the japanese and then shot down the other one hahaha man I missed this game.

Yeah.. they respawn.. but eventually after certain part of the game they will be gone... Don't waste your time killing them a second time.

Just a while ago I HAD to kill them, or else they were going to kill two of my survivors and ruin my potential Saint run (yes, I might actually pull off Saint my first playthrough). I almost lost two of them but had to kill them. Thank god I had two healing items that I didn't need, they did.

They respawn at midnight of every day.

This includes the first day if you kill them before midnight.

I always use the Machine Gun you get from them to kill Cletus. It helps a lot.
