The Wii is an ever so slightly more powerful Gamecube and CtyD is an RE4 mod. Saying it doesn't count because it's technically 7th gen is silly.
This is always a fun arguement. I don't know if you can really put Nintendo into comparable generations based on hardware, the Wii was when they really started to not even try to keep themselves in the hardware race and instead focused on doing their own thing to eek out their own market.
It's like trying to pick what Generation the Switch is in. It's at the end of the life cycle of the PS4 and Xbox One, it's got pretty good hardware for a handheld, but it's also a handheld/home console hybrid and is comparable but still behind the original PS4/Xbox One.
I just don't see the point in trying to cram Nintendo into Generations when they're not catering to the same market, they don't release anywhere on the same schedules and their hardware is not trying to directly compete with other Consoles and their "Generations". That all ended with the Gamecube.
