Classes are not saved in the call of duty black ops multiplayer

I don't have classes saved, for example, I put one weapon in place of another and when I finished setting up the class it changed to the old one, but before that my rank was reset

this is a bug, you need to upgrade prestige and then you can change classes again. The former rank cannot be returned (

So reach level 50 and then enter prestige mode?
