The game doesn't save me custom classes

When I play in multiplyer games I advance in level, and I unlock new game content, I don't know how many of you have encountered this problem, but I think it is in common with another problem opened in my previous discussion.
When I enter the game, the box "Download game settings" appears, and it does not do it only once, it does it several times putting in whole minutes like I said, I listened to some tips to solve it but it didn't work.

During the last game, I created a custom class, and finished everything, the game presented the same problem but without saving anything, I don't have other games with problems of the genre, so Black Ops Multiplayer is the only one, I care to specify that I bought it in the shop and not from steam.
This problem started recently, before it was all right.

Has anyone experienced this problem before, and could you tell me how? THANK YOU :)

what would Prestigeing be? I can't find it in the Google search engine

The message "Download game settings" is common and normal, don't worry.
Sometimes it takes a while till the message disappears, but I guess that depends on your network connection.

Is it possible, that you have made changes on your config files and have enabled write protection?
Cause that blocks changes of your custom classes.

Maybe, my connection is is with the optical fiber and it goes fast enough, it could be the write protection, how do I unlock it?

you go to your black ops folder -> players -> config_mp.cfg -> right click -> attributes -> uncheck the box with write protection.

You can go to prestige if you hit level 50, then your game will get a reset and you start from the beginning, but you get some prestige feature, like a new calling card and exclusive stats.
You can go to prestige 15 times, when you hit prestige 14 you get access to golden weapons.

Mhm, strange ... have you tried simple tricks like verifying the integrity of the game files in steam?

yes absolutely and even several times, I tried to reinstall it from the disk but nothing changed, I made that step with the File Config but nothing even with that.

I mean there are some possible fixes you could try in addition, but there is just a tiny chance that this helps:
- you could try to use a different storage medium, like another hdd for your black ops files
- you could try to clear your download cache in steam, at the settings
- and you could use another steam account.

I don't do these things, I just try chache, because for the rest the account is in my opinion, however this problem has meant that all the progress has been reset but the classes created, before the problem remained, I see what happens

I don't think so, but in case how to do it? I never got there at the prestige, and in any case the classes don't even make me create them, I found out now that when I create it, it tells me that it is saving the game settings and then nothing happens
