Black ops 1 reset (downloading game settings-fetchin stats glitch)

So...

I've gotten Black Ops 1 for a while now (on PC, via Steam) and i've levelled my account to level 27. Then all of a sudden, my stats got reset and I thought "ok, too bad, lets go again".
However when I got to level 18 I couldn't level any further... After a every game it says that I get new guns and attachments but when I spawn in the next map "downloading game settings, fetchings stats" shows up and I'm stuck at level 18 and all the achievements are gone again.
Also if I want to create a class, I can select for example a suppressor on the FAMAS but when I close the create a class section, all the settings jump back to before...

Can anyone help me?

Doubt they still support this game... Pc dev said it was an issue on the side of Activision. I tweeted but no response in the first 24hrs. I'll wait a bit longer tho :)

For me, I was able to solve this bug when I reached level 10 (but that was not the level before my level was reset), because in this level I could modify the killstreaks (the killstreaks that i bought it was the blackbird), but then when I bought the killstreaks the game no longer presented "fetching stats" and could normally customize the classes.

I was only able to resolve this bug yesterday (this bug happened to me a few months ago), I was still at level 17 and while I entered a server I was kicked during the loading and it happened this level reset bug and "locked classes" and yesterday in the hope of trying to solve this bug I went to look for more information on the internet (being that as soon as this bug occurred I also looked on the internet somewhere) and yesterday I found a topic on the actvision forum about this bug and the guy said he was able to solve this bug when he got to the level he was before he was reset (and with that guy had happened because of the prestige, different from me that was while I logged on to a server) and bought all the things he had bought before the reset and this inspired me to try the solution proposed by this guy of the topic, but I ended up without wanting to find the solution that I proposed while playing.

Hello, I was prestige 4 level 47 and mtn I lost all my stats including my level and prestige, however I have access to my 5 personal classes such as ak47 galil mpl and L96A1 but yet I have climbed to level 16 and I have not unlocked these weapons? Someone have a solution please

I have the impression that recently this problem is increasing, I had it recently and now I can no longer connect to certain servers in addition to losing all my stats
