Updating Executable Infinite Loading Fix

Description : The games won't open and you get an infinite "Updating Executable" message.

How to fix this ?
1) Go to your black ops game folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops
2) You should see a folder named "Redist", go inside and install vcredist_x86.exe
3) Go in the "DirectX" folder and install DXSETUP.exe
4) Try now or restart your computer and this should work !

(I tried this on multiples computer with the "Updating Executable" bug and this fixed it)

it worked on windows 10 but not with W11. Do you have any idea? thanks for your effort
