Your own fault for buying a CD key in Russian so you could get it cheaper and rip off the developers. Enjoy your Russian copy, there is no way to change it.

You can contact Steam Support and ask them to remove it so you can re-buy the game in English.

In future only buy off Amazon or Steam Store.

Listen man, I didnt buy it to rip them off, I went to this site to retrieeve a key to dead ising two because gave my code away to a freind, so i needed one, anyway the site was out of keys for that game so they gave me my money back and with it i went for black ops, I later found out it was the russion edition and believe me if anyone was ripped off it was me, thanks for making me feel worse though... I was just asking for help

You're techically not even supposed to be rebuying 3rd party keys as per the SSA which you agreed to when you made your Steam account.

oh my, what a trouble maker I am, take me to jail, gosh man haha I dont even know you and you're acting like you're upset with me over this, I had money on a site and I needed to get rid of it, otherwise it would have sat there and I would have waisted money, the only reason I went there in the first place was to get a games for windows live code for my version of dead rising 2, I wasn't trying to be a D-bag against steam, I gave my code to a friend and thus needed one, sorry to dissapoint you but I didn't post my problem so that some stranger I don't know will question my morals, now if you're done making both of us look like fools I'd like to say, I contacted steam and asked them to take Black Ops off my account, I do not want it there anyway, that was my plan if nobody could fix it so thank you all for trying to help me :) I really appreciate it but I've got it handled.

It's not about where and how he bought or alledged "morals", (♥♥♥♥♥ plz), it's about the fact that russian version is god-awful even for russians, localizations of all cod games are bareboned, half-arsed pieces of stinking crap. With terrible translation and poor voice acting, and to add insult to injury, horrid text font, but I digress.

All you need to do is:
1. Install your main game, make sure it runs and servers show players
2. Get (rip, lend, borrow) following files from english version
3. zone/english (instead of zone/russian (just delete russian))
4. main/video (for cutscenes if needed (delete the old one))
5. ALL files that named: "localized_English_iw00" (through) "localized_English_iw14" (russian version has one extra "15" file, just delete every "localized_Russian_iwXX" files and replace them with english one)
6. Done

Really? You can do that? I would love to get rid of mine RU that I bought retail back in day, and then re-purchase ROW off sale or something

Is there a patch that replaces the "video" file? Because I found the "russian to english" patch and it replaced all the language files except the ones for the pre rendered intro cutscenes.
