Combat Training Help

So my friend and I want to play Combat Training together, but we can't figure out how to do that. Anyone know how to do this?

Start your server like how you want it. Then at the bottom right corner you should see "Friends" you can see all you friends click on the friend you want to be in the game, and then invite. Pretty simple :)

Oh well I'm stupid. LOL. Didn't see friends there. Herp derp, late night gaming.

what the hell it doesnt work for me, my friend and I can invite each other.

So I just went in and tried it with him, and no dice. It didn't work, can't select "invite to game"

Of course not, we are on seperate computers, seperate steam accounts, seperate internets, the whole 9 yards.

That is really weird, you should be able to invite him to the game.

Neither of us are able to invite the other. Do we have to invite prior to going into Combat Training?

Um what do you mean?

So when we load up multiplayer we are presented with a screen that says "Play" and some other stuff, do we invite on that screen, or after we open up Combat Training?

Ah okay. You open up combat training, set the settings, how many bots you want ect. And in that page you'll see the "Friends" at the bottom right corner. Thats why you couldn't invite him

Okay sounds good and it will work :)

Nope, still not working. I click friends, find him, and then the option to invite is grayed out, unable to be selected.

Okay now this here should work Start your game, once the game is loaded and the match is about to start, hit ESC, you can see "Friends" then invite :) The option will be enabled so you can invite :)
