Zombie maps are not loading

So a couple of my close friends are huge zombie fans so during a recent sale i bought the special edition (or whatever the hell its called) so I could get all the dlc and play all the maps with my friends. But half the maps dont work, like ill try to load call of the dead or shang etc and the game will freeze and i get a message that says "ERROR could not load whateter". I have tried uninstaling and reinstalling about 3 times now and it still doesnt work and before someone tells me my computer cant handle it i have looked over my specs and it should be running fine. Any help would be nice (btw im using windows 10)

try installing the multiplayer portion of the game if not already installed. there is a known problem for zombies maps of first 3 DLC packs. each of the DLC packs include 4 multiplayer and 1 zombies map. (except the 4th DLC which includes 1 new and 4 remade zombies maps). if multiplayer portion is not installed, apparently zombies maps are stuck at loading screen and game doesn't start due to this.

if this didn't solve problem, you can verify game files by right clicking game's icon on steam library and select "properties" and then "local files" and then "verify integrity of game files". this option checks all game files and repairs the corrupt files and downloads the missing ones. in general, a useful trick known to solve many technical problems, not only for bo1 but also for numerous steam games.

Thank you my game works now, if i have any problems later ill try doing the second thing. I never thought to install the multiplayer because I only got the game for zombies.
