Do not confuse "They don't owe you to sell it cheap" with "They are not greedy", either. The "greed" is an entirely separate variable here. So actually I guess talking about it is kinda inconsequential because it's not actually important.

Activision are greedy as we all know. Thankfully Black Ops can be bought from other reputable sources for under £10. I got my PC copy a couple of years ago for £0.99p brand new and sealed. I primarily think Activision simply don't want to detract from their latest COD games so they keep the prices purposely high on their older catalogue and if people do want to splash the cash; they have to pay top dollar. If Activision wanted to truly milk games on here though; they'd sell them dirt cheap with the DLC's heavily reduced also. I very much doubt anybody in this day and age buys an old Call of Duty game at max price on Steam.

They can but they choose not to for whatever reason(s). 50% is the maximum discount applied to all old Call of Duty titles on Steam and this has been the case for years.

i really need the DLCs but they are 14$ each, no way in hell i am paying that much for some old ass maps.i just want the Zombie ones to complete all the achievements.

Have to disagree, there aren't very many mp servers any more and it takes hours or even days to find a decent zombie match at times
