Is it possible that you have edited your config.cfg and set to write protected?
Anyway, go to:
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops\players\save
And check if there are .svg-files in it.
Cause these are your save files.
If so, go to your config.cfg in your players folder and check line 499 and 500.
It should look like this:
seta sv_lastSaveCommitedToDevice "save\cuba-2.svg"
seta sv_lastSaveGame "save\cuba-2.svg"
Edit "save\cuba-2.svg" on both lines to the save file you want to load.
Save the config.cfg and start the game! :)
omg yes thankyou :D I remember a few weeks ago I was seeing if there was any way to do the Shangri La achievement on my own, and one way said to change the config file to bind f1 to "devscript_1" or whatever the command was and to make the file read only.
The lines you mentioned above had the last mission set to Vorkuta, which is when I mush have changed the file contents. Thank you for the help, I really really appreciate it :D
Here to help!
Depends on your config file.
Just search for "seta sv_lastSaveCommitedToDevice" and "seta sv_lastSaveGame".
