Joining friend's zombies lobby problem

Hi guys!

Does anyone of you had a problem with joining your friend's lobby in Black Ops 1 zombies? Me and my friend have the same Black Ops 1 game on Steam and we're unable to invite each other. After accepting the invitation, there is an endless loading loop with the communique 'joining the lobby'. What could couse this problem?

We can join other people's games with no problem, but not the ones we host.

What do you mean by 'the same internet connection'? If we connected with the same router? No. We both have different ISP and live in different cities.

Make sure you have the required ports open for steam and black ops . They are the first results on google , and you need to add them to your router . Then add a static IP to your own PC , that should help your connection problems .

If your still stuck add me i can try help i have fixed my fair share of black ops connectivity problems over the years :)

Luckily I managed to fix the problem. I found a 'router-ports" solution for the Black Ops 1, applied and it works now. :)

I am on the same internet connection with my friend and bo1 zombies was working fine the first day but after that whenever we try to join an online match together it lets us join but the game thinks were the same person in the lobby and our names keep changing between each others name then it kicks one of us and says the lobby is no longer active please help kind of a wierd one i know but i cant figure it out
