Game lag on Windows 10
Hello to everyone!
I have a problem with Call of Duty: Black Ops. The game has a annoying lag, at any level of graphic settings (low, medium and high).
I played COD:BO years ago on the same computer, on which Windows 7 was installed, and the game was fine. My computer specs fully meet the minimum requirements (since I played that in the past), but now there's this strange lag.
Is the problem Windows 10?

Thanks for helping!

S0 many people were saying W10 was an issue for WaW. So it might be not sure though.
I agree that the problem is the OS, as the game before ran well on the same computer. Is there a way to fix this problem?
Try to go back to windows 8 or 7
If there is no method to fix the problem, it is the only solution. But what a disappointment.
Thanks Max-98 for helping! :)
You're welcome.

Hi, i think to have your same problem, Cavaliere. My pc should be good enough to play this game, my pc specs are ok. But the game always goes between 15 and 25 fps. It's unplayable... but i haven't the possibility to go back to W7/8...

Hi dadoDrake, I have a desktop computer that is running Windows 10, and a laptop (used for the study and gaming) that is running Windows 7, but I can not install COD:BO there because there is not enough space on its hard disk (too many games and music :steamhappy:).
Unfortunately, it seems that the only solution is to start the game on an earlier operating system.

ping is internet, basically if the host is in another continent itll be higher = laggier , or if he has bad connection , when you host ping should always be low , but it will affect other players if your internet is bad ,

Hm. I have Windows 10 Pro X64. There are no any constant lags. The game stopped without crashing only a couple of times.. I saw just a frame.

Is your internet connexion ok, and whats the speed?

at mine msi, it works really great, only have a 2,0 gb card, max settings allowed, processor is a i7, but i have a game management which turns off every program which is not needed, thats the solution i think. Its called dragon game center, it puts a mix of power to the game, anyway its a laptop i am playing with.and playing of ssd off course.

The game used to run fine, lately has been running 14-18fps in the main menu. Same story in game, near 1 second frametime spikes. CPU and GPU usage low. Of almost 20 launches it has worked normally I think twice.

According to Rivatuner through Afterburner, in about 10 seconds in the main menu the frametime held at 122 with spikes to 222.
