- your PC Specs
- when does this error shows up? You see the start screen with MW3 logo on it, or sooner?
- I guess you installed a official version of MW3 (no cracked crap), right?
The version is not cracked i dowloaded it directly from Steam.
The error shows up when I go to my steam library and click play next to mw3 it runs it and a message pops up that says Entry Point Not Found which is Bink Set Mix Volumes@20. It will not go to the start menu or even start to run the game.
Also, it might be a error on the .dll data (or the Windows registry) which came for example with TeamSpeak client (if you use/got installed this?).
What 64Bit OS you got? Win7, Vista?
This might help:
1.) verify the game files via steam (right click on MW3 game at steam library & choose validating local game files)
2.) If message still show up after, I would suggest you to uninstall the audio drivers and re-install once again.
To uninstall audio drivers from the device manager follow these steps:
a. Click on Start.
b. Type "Device Manager" in the search bar.
c. Click on Device Manager.
d. Select the device you wish to uninstall in the Device Manager window and uninstall it.
e. You can also uninstall by right clicking on the device and selecting Uninstall from the context menu. A dialog box will open asking you if you really wish to uninstall the driver. Click Yes, then OK in the next window.
Install the audio drivers from the manufacturer's website (of your Soundcard or, if onboard, your Motherboard manufacturs website).
3.) If nothing else helps, you can try to re-install the game in cleanboot mode of Windows and check if it works.
