Should i Buy the DLC ?
Hey Everyone,

I had all the Mw3 DLC on the xbox 360 with Elite founder status and i know all the maps well and kinda miss them in TDM and KC.

But is there any people actually playing on the maps ?

Has anybody still playing have the maps ?

People are on the DLCs, but only if you get them all.

I love all the maps on 1 and 2 and got to play them regularly on kc for the limited time they were popular and after kc died off, a short time on tdm.
That was the very reason I didn't fork out for dkc 4 at the time because of it's projected short life span.
Unfortunate decision as I would have liked to have play all the dlc mp maps.

Anyway, if you are thinking of purchasing them, definitely wait for half price sale.

It's NOT worth it! Years after the release, they STILL charge full price! The DLCs are ONLY good for Survival mode, but DEAD on Multiplayer! DO NOT BUY THEM for full price! If you can get them for $5 or less, then maybe, but that's it! And again, they're ONLY worth buying if you play Survival mode!

75% of the DLC for MW3 are not worth it. DLC 1, 2, and 4 are definitely not worth buying, either for Spec Sps (Survival or missions) or Multiplayer (the maps are all mediocre with maybe one or two exceptions). I highly suggest DLC 3 (the Chaos Mode one). Chaos Mode is AWESOME, but it's pretty damn stupid that they only put it on four maps.

y only reason for wanting to buy them would be if they have any story line for single player mode? If there is none I am NOT doing so. So is there? Like a continuation based on all 4 DLC with an ending in the last DLC of the set?

the only folks youll find on dlc will be euro for some reason there arnt many people playing them. i love the dlc maps i think they were awesome i bought them for many of my friends but if you wanna find a game other than tdm its near impossible. get them when they are half price.

The only DLC that is to do with the single player is the Spec ops missions.

I bought DLC pack #4 because it has 5 Maps and i have only played 2 games of TDM on them, kinda regret buying it.

So if you get all of them you may find games but not guaranteed :/ Sigh I want to get them on this steam sale right now because they look pretty fun and the spec op missions look nice. I just miss playing this game and wanted to freshen up my experience.

Thread is kind of old and the time changed things in CoD, but ... well.

I got DLC 1,2,4 (skipped 3 = Chaos Mode, no MP maps)
I play pretty oftern the DLCs, never had trouble to join in lobbies (even today I found 6 lobbies in TDM) but the best argument might be that you won't run into hacked lobbies or cheats (happened just once to me and I played the game for quite a few hours... ;)

THAT might be the reason why we don't encounter many cheats in DLCs lobbies...

Edit/question:
When was the last time you played MW3 for 3-4 hrs with no modded lobbies and/or cheats??
