MW3 RESOLUTION PROBLEM

It seems I am unable to change the resolution settings in MW3.
Well, I can change them, but when I enter a game, the resolution seems to stay at 800x600 and the other settings such as textures etc seem to drop to the lowest.

It's family shared .. but that's not a problem .. it's the resolution

Try to use this config-tool to set up you rresolution and make sure the config.cfg is set on "read only" afterwards.

Somehow, 6 years later this is still a problem. I'm trying to set MW3 at 1440p and it won't change resolution from whatever low-res it is. The game says it's at 1440p, but it very clearly looks like 720p.

Change Image Quality to Native, as that will match the resolution you have set. The other ones seem to lock it to 720p

Go to config files> properties. Check if they have read- only ticked.pick them up.
