MW3 Launch problems [SOLVED]
Hi,

When i click on "play" on steam for MW3 the game does not launch. I just get the small window "preparing to launch MW3" and nothing happens...

I reinstalled the game multiple times, it doesn't changes anything...

Anyone can help me about this?

Verify the game cache.

Singleplayer first, then Multiplayer.

write something more accurate than your "compressed disaster message".
windows what?
go > system /management /event display /are some error messages there?

Delete iw5mp.exe in your mw3 directory, then verify gamecache. If it doesn't exist delete some random files and then verify.

Ok, here are some precisions:

The game worked perfectly suddenly one day I click on the "play" button on steam and i get the message "preparing to launch mw3" or something like that. Then, nothing happens...

I don't get any error messages, just nothing happens, the game won't launch.

I will try McProfilhofer's method and write back.

I use multiple displays and i removed all my displays but for one.
It loaded right up.

So now in 2023 tryna find the same fix for the remastered version and idk how to make it work how do you go to the directory

when i click the play button for mw3 on steam it "starts the game" and says it running for about 15 seconds (it isnt) and then goes back to the green play button
