UNABLE TO CONNECT TO HOST COD MW3
Hello everyone,

I have tried connecting to my friends to play with them but it keeps displaying the same problem.
They have no such issue and I can't figure it out. My NAT type is Open, Upnp is on, on my home network connected via cable.. Can anyone help me?

I even tried port forwarding, but I'm not sure I understand what to do..

disable any anti virus first. then try disabling windows firewall and windows defender. if any of those work, figure out how to have both. don't forget to turn things back on. if that doesn't work., try reinstalling the game from scratch.

UPDATE:
I have tried turning the windows defender and firewall off, the problem still persists.
Reinstalled the game, no luck.

I don't know what the problem is.. maybe I don't know how to port forward? I have tried following the instructions, but I'm not sure it worked.

Are wired or WiFi? Are you connected to a router separate from your modem?

Wired, connected directly to my modem.. my modem model is CISCO EPC3928S. Don't know if that helps...

The game allows me to play random matchmaking, and join servers, just not my friends, and they cannot join me either

If your nat is strict they may cause the issue ...

Same damned problem, it might have to do with the stupid server problems that MW3 is having, not being able to find games properly and such. I also have the PS3 version and the issues are the same.

Update: My NAT type is still open and I can connect to my friend that has open NAT, but can't to those who have moderate..

There were some exceptions, where the game would allow me to connect to those friends with moderate NAT, but only periodically... don't know what causes that
