Mouse is skipping!!!

I was playing good all the time but suddenly my aim started to skip all the time, please help me, my mouse is "Asus GX950".

Not sure about that mouse. But see if there is a software/firmware update.


Also maybe see if it allows to calibrate to a playing surface.

could be either. make sure not overheating. also make sure graphics card is up to date.

i had a similar issue happen with my mouse and it turned out to be a firmware update. but the program was flawed and so had to delete and reinstall and then it updated.

Check temp? Does it do it in other games? Does it do it from start or like 10 min into playing?

Is your mouse acceleration off in your MW3 config_mp.cfg?
seta cl_mouseAccel "0" (default is 1 = activated).

VSync turned off in game options?
Any other sw running in the background such as "Fraps" or "Skype" then close it and try again.

Hey I had lag and mouse issues also. Here is a fix for it. Change priority of the game exe to normal, use task manager. Also change resolution to a lower resolution. I changed mine to 800x600 and it fixed my lag problem, enjoy.

Actually, try this: your mouse is likely using a high sample rate. mine was 500hz, or above the game tend to skip horribly.... i set it to 125hz and it went back to normal. Check mouse software! :)

So what you're saying, Defaced, is that my mouse is sending WAYY too much data to the game which makes it so the game can't keep up and therefore makes it skip?
That's... actually very interresting...
In any case, do you have any idea how i would fix this problem with a Mad Catz mouse? i can't seem to find anything about how many hz my mouse is outputting through the software i'm using, i can only change it's DPI and set up it's different macro settings
