Good & Bad News

Hello fellow architect

Today is a sad day because we wanted to push out the 1.1.0 patch with huge improvements... but the universe had other plans :(

The new patch need a little bit more time in the oven to bring you a really good update.

The good news is that i can share with you some improvement we are working on:

Putting and ball physics:

We are working on improving the putter, in this video you can see the work we are doing on the put it self and on the ball physics!

This are two rough and short video to demonstrate the advancement we have made in the putting. We are also working on more pleasing animations and improving the over all feeling.

Ball Washer:

This is how you should wash your balls in our animator opinion!

Flower Beds:

A great way to brighten up your course and please your golfers at the same time.
Flower beds are also hazards for your golfer, so keep them out of the play, unless you want to toughen the hole. If a ball lands in a Flower Bed, it's similar to as it would land in the rough.

Tournament Score

1. We added the Par of the hole visible on the score board
2. Darker cell color indicates the current hole the golfer are playing
3. This is a toggle button that let you choose how to visualize the result, total strokes or score

Least but not last

And on top of all this you will finally be able to terraform your tee and hole!!!!

I hope you like the direction we are taking, unfortunetly we need to keep polishing a little bit more before we push it live!

I think the game should be free; only the DLC should cost money or Free DLC As for the Steam reviews, I’m pretty much in line with them. I really liked the demo, but I won’t be buying the game.

Hello fellow architects!

Today I'm here to talk a little bit bout the new addition to the game and the Out of Bound ( OB) rework!

First thing first, we added more customization to the Trees, now you can chose between 3 different size:

1) Small: golfer will try to shoot over them, the better the golfer less of an obstacle this size of tree are.

2) Medium: the normal size that you are all familiar with.

3) Tall: golfer will not attempt to throw over them, it's almost impossible

Now some more technical discussions:

Rocks: it's not Ob anymore, but the ball bounces erratically when it lands in rocks. and if the ball end in the rock even after the bounce it triggers the "relief for an unplayable ball".

Trees: it's not Ob anymore, relief for an unplayable ball in case it's too much under a tree
Water: relief for an unplayable ball
Path: it's not Ob anymore, will be handled like the default terrane ("Base").
OB: too far from the current hole

Relief for an unplayable ball
If your ball comes to rest in a position where a shot is not reasonably possible, such as deep bushes, heavy rough, or obstructed terrain, you may declare the ball unplayable. Taking relief adds a one-stroke penalty, after which the ball is repositioned to the nearest valid point on the current hole.

Some quality of life improvements:

Start screen now works also with the mouse click and not only with the space bar.
New "Live it! stats effect" settings that will toggle the Hunger, thirst, energy and bathroom effects while playing golf.
No more Bankruptcy in Sandbox
Not showing the follow cam while playing Golf!

I hope this little/big update is a right step in the right direction, let us know what you think.

Last level is basically done

So, I've basically finished the game, but in the last level I need to get the golfer to finally use the swimming club. I've built three swimming clubs and the idiot just won't go in there—I've been waiting forever :(. Is there a trick to this.... Can't you change it so that the guy goes to the swimming club as soon as you've built the pool?...

Fences placement issue

Playing on the deck so not sure if on pc. The two current fence options doesn't work on path corners when placed next to. Only certain sides do. But I cannot tell which side the fence is facing too... Really liking the game, just the placement issues are frustrating....

Decorating is a huge thing for me in these type of games. The fact your fences would only allow me to place decorations on one side but not on the other side (this also effects paths to).

Hello fellow Architects!

Another week on the green and we are doing fantastic! Thank you so much for your amazing support and feedbacks!

We hosted our first Poll and you made it really clear what you want! ːreheartː
Next poll will be up really soon and we will discuss about the handicap system!

We are finally Steam Deck tested and here are the results:
we are already trying to fix the text for the handheld mode, but the game if fully playable ːsteamhappyː

Cute game, but it needs a lot of work.

Some good things that stood out to me: -Generally pleasant to look at. I really like the color saturation, and the assets look nice. -Very easy to build courses. How to do this achievement? Is it just luck based? I tried to make the life of these people miserable so they have to run a lot for a small hole but they seem to just turn around. making them fail every shot is also not doing what im hoping to. How to do this achievement?...
