MW3 50% off on steam sale?

i really want to get mw3 and i only have 20 dollars so i was wondering, do yall think mw3 is gonna go 50% off during steam summer sale whenever that is? (i certainly hope so ;) )

Everything goes on sale. They usually do a "Call of Duty deal" day where everything Call of Duty based goes on offer. If MW3 will go as low as 50% I have no idea.

oh and if i get mw3, if i mod some of the games files, but dont luanch through steam, can vac still detect what ive done? just out of cuiosity.

Its possible yes. 25% is likely, don't know about 50%.

Any mods in MW3 will get you banned. Best thing to do is just stay way from all mod programs. Aside from editing the mp_config file, you're better off not touching any MW3 files.

not mod programs, but me manually editing files, and not launching with steam overlay or through steam at all, would that get me banned. also , is it banned from mw3 servers, or steam banned?

Define "manually editing files".

And VAC bans for MW3 will perm you from MW3 Multiplayer.

going into the steamaps\common\username\modern warfare 3\ and editing files besides configs such as ones that store stats and unlcoks, and then luanching the game without steam or steam overlay
