MW3 2011 startet nicht

hab das spiel heute erneut installiert für überlebensmodus, aber nur der multiplayer lässt sich starten, die mw3 normale exe öffnet sich nicht, zeigt nur kurz "ausführungsdatei wird aktualisiert"

genau das selbe problem habe ich auch ...
windows 11 pro
ryzen 7 5700x3d
amd radeon rx 6600..
32gb Arbeitspeicher

also an der hardware kann es nicht liegen !

man hat keine chance das spiel zum lauen zu bekommen ???

hat jemand eine idee ob es einen patch gibt ??

problem besteht weiterhin, mehrere spiele getestet, kann kaum eins starten :(

This started happening to me also today. Can't run Single Player MW3 (2011) - even after verifying the files all it does it sit there saying 'updating executable' then it stops.

I am talking to sledgehammer. They have no idea what's up and keep telling me to troubleshoot.

konnte es vorkurzem spielen. Bin zu den Dateien und hab die .exe gelöscht und dann die spieledateien auf probleme untersuchen lassen. Hat dann funktioniert aber jetzt geht es garnicht mehr.

Moin Zusammen,
habe das Spiel gekauft und dasselbe Problem beim Starten des Singleplayers.
Bei mir hat folgende (relativ banale) Einstellung das Problem behoben.
Ich habe die Kompatibilität des Steam Launchers wie folgt eingestellt:
Windows 8 + als Admin ausführen

Vielleicht hilft es euch weiter.

I have exchanged 20 emails with Steam support and sledgehammer games. They both told me to "update drivers" and "run in compatibility mode". It doesn't work. They won't help further.

Pick any game(I picked Modern Warfare 3 2023) and write "I know this is the wrong game but I need help with Modern Warfare 3 (2011), it won't launch it says "updating executable".

They will reply and try to help you with troubleshooting tips, but the problem is on their end.

Maybe they will listen if more people message them.

I just reset my PC and reinstall win 11 (win 11 clean install), and now the game works for me again.

Mine's working again also - all I did was set compatability to Win 8, applied, then back again to none, and enabled 'Run as Admin' and applied, then unchecked it and applied.
Then I did a validation check, and single player runs perfectly now.
Go figure.
